Subject: �Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological Health Research Program Fiscal Year 2024 Public Request for Information THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS (RFQ); IT IS STRICTLY A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). �NEITHER UNSOLICITED PROPOSALS NOR ANY OTHER KINDS OF OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED IN RESPONSE TO THIS RFI. �NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED PURSUANT TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. 1.0 DISCLAIMER: �This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. �Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kind of offers will be considered in response to this RFI. �Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. �Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. �All information received in response to this RFI that is marked �Proprietary� will be handled accordingly. �Responses to this RFI will not be returned. �At this time, questions concerning the composition and requirements for a future RFP will not be entertained. 2.0 PURPOSE: �Psychological health is critical to overall well-being and is multifaceted and complex, encompassing emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and social well-being.� The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) seeks feedback to inform the fiscal year 2024 (FY24) Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological Health Research Program (TBIPHRP) psychological health research focus areas and associated research funding opportunities.� Although FY24 funds have not been appropriated, the TBIPHRP is requesting this information to support program planning processes.� The CDMRP wants to hear from all audiences, interested parties, and individuals from academia, industry, community and non-profit organizations, scientific and professional organizations, federal agencies, and the public.� This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of the TBIPHRP or the Department of Defense. 3.0 BACKGROUND: ��The CDMRP represents a unique partnership between the U.S. Congress, the military, and the public to fund innovative and impactful medical research in targeted program areas. The CDMRP TBIPHRP�s vision is to optimize the prevention, assessment, and treatment of psychological health conditions and/or traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). The TBIHPR�s mission is to fund research to understand, prevent, assess, and treat psychological health and/or TBI that accelerates solutions to improve the health, well-being, and healthcare of Service Members, their Families, Veterans, and the American public. Appropriations for the TBIPHRP from FY07 through FY23 totaled $2.397 billion.
