- Description
- Columbus RME tool sharpening questions and answers: Will there be any instrument marking requirements, laser or etching, etc.? No, since Columbus is now doing this in house with VA personnel. Is there an average tray count that needs to be serviced at each monthly visit? 30-40 sets of instruments on average per SPS staff but keep in mind that the number of instruments in each set very by type of set. Full inventory of sets and instruments in those sets has been provided. Would 2 service days per month for tray maintenance and one day per month for case cart etc., be an acceptable option? SPS staffing resources make it difficult to accommodate multiple days so they would like to keep this at one visit per month for normal repairs. Obviously this wouldn t apply to emergency repair requests as outlined in the SOW. Is it possible to obtain a list of the dental handpieces and power equipment? The service indicated that this was in the original inventory, but here is the file provided this just in case. (see attachment)
