This new CMOP will dispense approximately 180,000 prescriptions daily direct to patient. To facilitate full operational capacity of our warehouse we need all pallet racking in the warehouse functional and safe. The warehouse is currently short 18 bays due to damage resulting from fork truck damage. This shortage is resulting in less-than-optimal flow through of product to the production floor as well as creating a safety hazard. Due to less-than-optimal storage capacity items are being placed in areas outside the shelving units creating further risk of employee injury and property damage. OBJECTIVE: To comply with 29 CFR 1910.176 and related consensus standards necessary to repair a UNARCO racking system that has been damaged at various points. To protect racking systems from further damage by installing protection devices and rails on and around racking. To protect warehouse walls and surfaces by installing protective devices on or in front of walls. Current Conditions: Two narrow Isle forklifts are used and are in a locked position when moving up and down the isles. There is a maximum 6 (inches) of clearance on each side of the forklift. The 6 clearance cannot be changed or altered in anyway. Scope of coverage: The coverage of this contract shall include: Repair of all damage to the warehouse pallet racking system found during the site visit. Proposed protection railing, guards and/or other protective measures on the walls, floors and/or racking systems with installation of such items to reduce further risk of damage to all walls and surfaces in the warehouse area deemed at a risk of a strike. Expected outcome: Repair and/or replacement of various damaged components of the pallet racking system/s to comply with applicable standards. Implementation of protection measures to reduce/minimize future damage to the warehouse racking system Vendor shall: Attend scheduled site visit to survey damage requiring repair. Assist with identifying protection measures for racking and warehouse surfaces. Provide a detail quote to include: Time requirements and floor space needed for repairs and installation. List of any equipment needed to be brought on site to perform repairs and any relevant: Licensures of their employees to operate listed equipment. Repairs must comply with the most current ANSI/MHI16.1 Standards. Repairs and protection measures must not interfere with space needs of racking system, doorways, or workflow. This will be determined during on site visit. Vendor Qualifications: Vendor should be able to provide repairs in accordance with the most current ANSI/MHI16.1 standards to ensure manufacturer specs are met.
