- This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL).� NPPTL has a requirement for Reusable Healthcare Elastomeric Respirator Improvements and Exhaled Breath Filter Adaptors. �The prototypes required under this effort must follow the same design as previous research efforts. �The intended recipient of this purchase order is: High Valley Design, Inc. located at 15328 Eastvale Road, Poway, California 92064-2336. � This order is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received by July 18, 2023 by 11:00AM EST will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should be emailed to Abbie Jemmott, Contracting Officer at ajemmott@cdc.gov No telephonic quotes will be accepted.
