- Description
- The Regional Contracting Center - Americas, 410th Contracting Support Brigade intends to award a Firm Fixed Price service contract for 17 vehicles and drivers with 24-hour service; 1 with 12 hours. This is to establish a Purchase Agreement for non-personal transportation services in different locations in Colombia using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. �The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to include but not limited to the LAVs, management, supervision, personnel, training, equipment, materials, supplies, fuel, repair parts, insurance and any other associated equipment and personnel to provide transportation services in support of the Security Cooperation Office (SCO) personnel in different locations in Colombia. Place of Performance:�Primarily Bogota, Colombia but include driving outside of Bogota. Contract Information: �The award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) with a period of performance of one (1) base year plus two (2) option years. The expected period of performance start date is 1 September 2023.� Obtaining the Solicitation: The solicitation will be issued unrestricted to allow U.S. and non-U.S. firms to participate.� The solicitation and any technical exhibits (when applicable) will be available for download from the SAM.gov, Contract Opportunities website.� All notifications of changes to this solicitation shall be made through electronics means only.� It is the vendor's responsibility to check for any posted changes to the solicitation. Estimated date of solicitation posting on www.sam.gov is on / around 27 July 2023. Contemplating Awardees: Since the contemplated contract is to be awarded by the contracting activity located in Fort Sam Houston, Texas and to be performed in Colombia, the offerors must meet the following requirement for OCONUS: (1) DFARS 252.225-7042, ""Authorization to Perform"" - The Offeror has been duly authorized to operate and to do business in the country or countries in which the contract is to be performed.� The Contractor shall, without additional expense to the U.S. Government, be responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses and permits, and for complying with any host government and political subdivisions laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the performance of the work
