Description

UPDATE 13 July 2023 -�The SOW and the RFQ have been updated.� Solicitation Information All quotes/responses shall be submitted via email to Lyndsay Krebs at lyndsay.b.krebs.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time on 27 July 2023. Solicitation N6852023R0060 is issued as a competitive procurement.� The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a competitive basis for one (1) HAZARDOUS MATERIAL STORAGE CONTAINER, ITEM # N05-3140 listed under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 12 and 13. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared In Accordance With (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6 �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items�, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offeror�s must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract.� This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. �NAICS code for this announcement is 332439 with small business size standard of 600 employees. Quotes only from small business concerns will be accepted.� Quotes received from concerns that are not small businesses shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. Items must be covered under the Manufacturer�s Warranty; Used or refurbished items will not be accepted.� Award will be made on an all or none basis. Cost of Quotes:� Expenses incurred in the preparation of quotes in response to this RFQ are the vendor�s sole responsibility and not reimbursable by the Government. ***Basis for Award*** Solicitation closing date/time is firm; quotes received after the deadline will not be accepted.� Your quote must contain enough technical information i.e. data sheet, drawing, specification, etc. for evaluation.� Your quote will only be evaluated based on the information provided.� The award will be made on the basis of lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards.� This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the initial offer should represent the vendor�s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability.� A determination by the Government not to accept the quote for not meeting the minimum requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Interested parties must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any Department of Defense contract.� This can be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm.� The Government will not pay for any information received. ***Instructions for quotes*** Please include the following information with your response: FOB: (Destination preferred) Shipping Cost if applicable (32228):� Tax ID# UEI & Bradstreet # Cage Code: Small Business � Yes ___� No ___ Estimated Delivery Date: If available on a Pricelist please provide a copy.
