NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SUPPORT AND REPAIR SERVICES OF VARIOUS THERMO FISHER SCIENTIFIC /THERMO ELECTRON LABORATORY EQUIPMENT This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(a)(1)(ii): sole source (including brand name) licensing agreements. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tenant Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005 has a requirement to procure the following services: The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command-Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM CBC) requires full-service preventative maintenance (PM) support, unlimited on-site repairs, software upgrades, online technical support, and telephone assistance to resolve technical problems for various Thermo Electron North American laboratory instruments and associated parts. This procurement is a non-personal services contract. The intended period of performance (POP) for the above-mentioned services is for a five (5) year ordering period. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to Thermo Electron North America LLC, 1400 North Point Parkway, Suite 10, West Balm Beach, Florida 33407-1976. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811210 and the Business Size Standard is $34M. All responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement in writing no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, 28 July 2023 with the following: 1.
