- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VISN1) hereby announces its intent to enter into a Sole Source award with BIO-RAD LABORATORIES, INC., 2000 ALFRED NOBEL DR, HERCULES, CA 94547-1804. This notice is not a request for quotes, but rather a notice of intent to conduct a sole source procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621511, with a size standard of $36.5M. The Bio-Rad PhD Ix System offers reliable performance for all autoimmune and infectious disease testing on one single platform. With a range of flexible workflow options, this system will offer high quality assay processing to meet all of the Immunology laboratory needs. This system has the ability to process IFA and EIA on one single platform while still providing reliable and accurate patient results. Everything can be utilized from a light protective housing; from magnetic clasps, to built in trays to ensure seamless sample loading, minimal maintenance, and effortless probe alignment.
