This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis to Raytheon (CAGE 4U884) under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)] as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements"". As the incumbent contractor Raytheon has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required. The Government does not intend to use the provisions of FAR part 12 for this acquisition. This notice of intent is published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals.
