- This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Applied Research Associates, Inc. Address: 160 Schoolhouse RD Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964-2412, United States. The requirement is for couples, controllers, probe and probe stand. The spectrum monitoring, measurement and direction finding equipment expands radiated susceptibility EMI testing in support of NAVSEA funded USN EME sensing and monitoring effort. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS Code is 334111 and the business size standard is 1,250 employees. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding.
