Description

Fleet Logistic Command Jacksonville has a� requirement for a Certified Woman Owned small business contractor who possess the capabilities to provide services as specified� in the solicitation and to determine their availability, capability and adequacy. If your firm may be interested in this requirement, and is a qualified certified woman owned small business for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 812320 � Dry cleaning and Laundry Services (except Coin-Operated) please respond to this synopsis. This U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in one or more of the following: (1) providing dry cleaning services (except coin-operated); (2) providing laundering services (except linen and uniform supply or coin-operated); (3) providing drop-off and pick-up sites for laundries and/or drycleaners; and (4) providing specialty cleaning services for specific types of garments and other textile items (except carpets and upholstery), such as fur, leather, or suede garments; wedding gowns; hats; draperies; and pillows. These establishments may provide all, a combination of, or none of the cleaning services on the premises. ($5.5 - Size Standards in millions of dollars according to https://www.sba.gov/sites/default/files/files/Size_Standards_Table.pdf), and has performed similar projects, we request the information shown below. An organization that is not considered a certified woman owned small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response. The Contractor shall furnish all new washers and dryers, labor, supervision, material, repair parts, supplies, equipment, and repair of washers and dryers as specified herein. The Contractor shall be responsible to complete all necessary measurements to ensure equipment will fit properly into laundry areas. All washers furnished by the Contractor shall meet or exceed the following requirements:�� Machines shall be new, commercial, multi-housing electric (120 Volt), fully automatic clothes washers with a minimum capacity of fourteen (14) pounds.� The washers shall be capable of washing, rinsing, spin drying, and shutting off automatically when the door is opened during the spin cycle.� Washers shall have a temperature selector and be Underwriter Laboratories (UL) approved. All dryers furnished by the Contractor shall meet or exceed the following requirements:� Machines shall be new dryers, electric (3 wire nominal 120/240 volts, 60 cycle A.C.), commercial motor and cabinet construction, minimum 5.75 cubic foot drum capacity, 3 selections for drying temperature, and a minimum of 60 minutes of timed drying.� Dryer shall have overload protection, push button starting switch, a door switch to stop tumbling and heat when door is open, heating elements which shut off when motor stops, removable lint screen and standard dryer settings to include settings for permanent press fabrics, delicate, and heavy duty.� Dryers shall be UL approved. Dryers shall have rigid aluminum dryer exhaust hose. Stacked dryers consists of two dryers that are stacked on each other as a set. All washers and dryers shall be new machines without coin devices.� All washers and dryers shall be white in color.� Only top-loading washing machines shall be installed.� Front-loading washers shall not be used. Please refer to the soliciation document attached for further information. Please pay attention to the Addendum and PWS within the solicitation to assist with knowledged of how to submit for this requirement.
