THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS BEING POSTED TO THE FEDERAL CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES PAGE LOCATED AT HTTPS://SAM.GOV.� IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT THIS IS THE SINGLE POINT OF ENTRY FOR POSTING OF SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATIONS TO THE INTERNET.� This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions.�The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity Southeastern Markets Contracting Division (DHACA-SEM-CD) is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Governments intent to issue a solicitation for the Maintenance of Hospital Beds for the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP). �The anticipated period of performance (PoP) will include a twelve (12) month base period from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024 and four (4) option periods up to 30 September 2028. This Notice of Intent to issue a solicitation is NOT a request for competitive quotes. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement within fifteen (15) calendar days of the publication of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convicting evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
