- The Commander Fleet Readiness Center� (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD 20670 gives notice of its intent to award a purchase order to TELEDYNE RISI, INC. dba Teledyne Electronic Safety Products (Cage Code: 0EUB8) on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. COMFRC Aviation Support Equipment requires the test, evaluation, and option for repair of four Electronic Sequencer Test Sets, 01-473-2030; MFR PART NR: 2018AS100-3. Services include inspection and/or calibration, repair using original manufactured replacement parts, and the units returned to fully operational Ready for Issue (RFI) condition. As the OEM, Teledyne is the only vendor with repair services that can meet operational and reliability requirements, as well as maintain configuration control throughout the repair process. Due to the uniqueness of this Test Set, no other services can be used as it would require modification to existing components.� Teledyne is the only known qualified source capable of meeting the Government�s specific requirements. It is anticipated the order will include a base CLIN for Test & Evaluation, plus three option CLINS for Repairs. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) business days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.�� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
