- Intent to Sole Source for Patient Satisfaction Surveys The Department of Veteran Affairs Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, Wade Park Campus, at 10701 East Blvd Cleveland, OH 44106, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for patient satisfaction surveys and analysis with Press Ganey Associates, LLC. The NAICS code is 541910, 2022 size standard of $22.5 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 8.405 6(a)(1)(i)(B)); Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized; to negotiate on a sole source basis due to the following: Press Ganey has the capability of providing detailed deep dive data that drills down to the individual service and provider level reports, that will allow the VA to review improvements and declines in Patient Experience on a daily/weekly/monthly quarterly etc. basis which is not available in other surveys used by VA. Press Ganey also provides relevant and comprehensive analysis tables and the ability to create custom reports. With these reports, the VA is able to make immediate changes in how care is managed as the data is more current and relevant than other surveys used by the VA. Press Ganey uses their proprietary Narrative Dx Solution which is the product of six different U.S. patents, not available with any other company. The period of performance is planned for December 1st, 2023, through November 31st, 2024, plus four one-year options. The scope of the survey requirement is summarized as follows: The survey tool will be used to identify the FboNotice causes or areas of weakness in the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System (VANEOHS), enabling the Cleveland VA Medical Center to improve our services, ultimately increasing satisfaction of patients during their hospitalization or while receiving outpatient or long-term care from the VANEOHS. The results will be used to gain insight on the opinions of Veterans who use services in VANEOHS. The tool will also provide front line staff with real time feedback on patient perceptions and will offer solutions to improve employee performance and enhance our delivery of outstanding and quality care. Secondary objective is to benchmark VANEOHS aggregated and unit-level performance against other healthcare systems, to include both VA and Non-VA systems across the country. No solicitation package is available, and this is not a request for quote. A determination not to compete is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT than 12:00 P.M. on Monday, July 31st.
