- This is a DRAFT Request for Quotation. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is releasing a Draft, request for quotation (RFQ) 1333ND23QNB670430. The attached DRAFT RFQ being developed is to provide technical support by working with the NIST Industrial Wireless Systems Project Lead, and a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, to develop the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) 3388 standard, associated documentation, and a combination of in-person and virtual industry meetings. � This DRAFT RFQ does not constitute a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This request does not commit the Government to contract for any services whatsoever. Further, NIST is not at this time seeking quotes and will not accept unsolicited quotes. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this announcement. All costs associated with responding will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this announcement does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any is issued. Should anything change, notification will be made to all interested parties via SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Questions and Comments in response to the Draft Solicitation are due no later than July 21, 2023, at 12:00 PM ET. Questions and Comments shall be emailed to marvin.jean@nist.gov on or before the date and time stated. � Questions regarding this announcement shall be emailed to the Contract Specialist(s) at marvin.jean@nist.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted.
