- Description
- On or about 18 July 2023, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for �Gavins Point Powerhouse Generator Floor Tile Rehab�.� The solicitation will close on or about 28 July 2023.�� The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.��� Site Visit: A formal Site Visit will not be scheduled; however, offerors are invited to arrange their own site visit if they would like to inspect the site where work will be performed. Information regarding who to contact to arrange for a site visit will be included in the solicitation. Project Description:� Contractor shall be responsible for the grinding of existing thin set (1� max) and replace approximately 400 sf of 6"" X 6"" - 3/4"" tile that will be provided. The work will be done on the power plant generator floor in the general area of Unit 2 Downstream side where tile needs to be replaced as indicated on the reference photos. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 20 days after receipt of Award, and to complete the work not to exceed 60 days, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance.� Estimated Construction Costs: The estimated construction cost of this project is less than $25,000.� NAICS Code:� The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 238330 � Flooring Contractors, with a size standard for Small Business of $19M.
