- SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY!� This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.� All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed is 513210. The size standard for NAICS is $47M.� The requirement is to provide annual software license for average of 10,240 applicants. Self Reported Academic Record (SRAR) Professional Version, plus setup, for 1 year online plus 2 option years. Academic reporting service that collects course work completed by students and categorizes the courses based on specific criteria built into the setup of the online application.� Salient Characteristics: � Proven and most ubiquitous Self-Reported Transcript tool already used with many of our peer competitors, post-secondary school institutions; no known competitor COTS products comes close to � The historical performance record of SRAR; targets a limited pool of high-quality applicants. � Decreases time and complexity for applicants, since a student's one-time SRAR input is shared by many colleges; a USAFA unique Self-Reported Transcript tool would be a detriment for students and increase incomplete applications, decreasing our pool of high-quality applicants � Native integration directly to our current Salesforce platform � Deployment needed by Class of 2028 application deployment in July; SRAR is the only tool that can meet that schedule; synchs with our urgent and transformational strategic plan on platforms and manpower; other peer institutions have already gained major admissions efficiencies (cutting application review times in half) and USAFA is catching up � Flexible but unique SRAR platform with exception course handling capabilities and ability to adjust calculation processing and algorithms � Comes with an existing K-12 school directory (aka school profile) that we can leverage; no other COTS products have this consolidated propriety database developed over many years � The only COTS that is well positioned as the consistent platform as we transition our User Interface from TargetX to more native Salesforce UIs, in the next 2 years � Provides expansion capability such as student course/performance trend analysis Include in your capabilities package your UEI, Cage Code, System for Award Management registration expiration date. Delivery is FOB Destination to USAF Academy, CO 80840. We are interested in any size business that is capable of meeting this requirement. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement.� The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of commercial sales-and product specifications related to this effort. Also indicate if you are the publisher. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated us of foreign national employees on this effort.
