- BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY 2023 JULY ANNOUNCEMENT 28 - 31 August 2023 The Professional Aerospace Contractors Association (PACA) of New Mexico invites you to attend their 35th annual BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY (BFI) on August 28 - 31, 2023 at the Embassy Suites off 1-25 and Lomas in Albuquerque, New Mexico.� PACA has negotiated a special rate for the Embassy Suites for our attendees, you must state you are attending the PACA BFI. The room rate includes a full hot breakfast as well as a hotel sponsored reception. These rates are available through 14 August, after which our block of rooms will return to the open market. The 2023 BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY offers three full days of comprehensive presentations and an exceptional opportunity to meet with Industry and Government customers face-to-face. This year�s event will begin with a social on Monday evening, 28 August, from 5 � 7:30 p.m. Tuesday morning, 29 August, will begin with a continental breakfast and the formal event proceedings starting at 8 a.m. sharp, with a reception from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This year�s BFI will conclude on Thursday afternoon, 31 August.� The BFI is a national conference that draws in more than 500 industry and Government representatives annually. The presentations feature new business opportunities for the upcoming year and foreseeable future and will include descriptions of missions, program objectives, value and plans; points of contact, as well as breakout sessions for more detailed information. We anticipate over $22B in upcoming opportunities to be presented at this years� conference. Topics will include: Research and development Test and evaluation Technical and analytical support Operations and maintenance Systems procurement PACA has invited over 30 presenters to participate in this year�s event, to include: Air Force Research Laboratory(AFRL) (all directorates) Space Systems Command Space Rapid Capabilities Office (Space RCO) Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) Defense Advanced Projects Office, (DARPA) Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Exhibiting at BFI: If you are a small business and have a current (within 2 years) Small Business Innovative Research Project (Phase II or Phase III) we offer you the opportunity to display and showcase your project to both government and contractor representatives.� Contact our registration agent for information on free exhibit space for your SBIR projects at 505-450-1165. To accommodate increased detail, all non-Government attendees will be required to be U.S. citizens and supply a copy of their organization�s DD2345, �Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement� prior to being confirmed for the conference.
