- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Project Title: P-8A Mission Seats � United States Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) � PMA 290 General Services Administration hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for the P-8A mission seats to Martin Baker America Inc., 169 Jari Drive, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, 15904, UEID K4UPPWD7YEB1 on behalf of the United States Naval Air Systems Command. The proposed procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of DFARS 206.302-4, FAR 13.106-1, and in accordance with FAR 13.501(a) as only one source will reasonably satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any interested party that believes it can meet the P-8A mission seats requirement described herein may provide a response and provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement.� All responses received in writing by July 31, 2023, will be considered by the Government.� Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the supplies outlined in this notice. �A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.� Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. List of components: Observer Seat Install Kit (Starboard) Observer Seat Install Kit (Port) FWD Facing Double Crew Seat - Year 3 Aft Facing Double Crew Seat Mission Console Seat Footrest (with tilt) Mission Console Seat Instl Kit (with Tilt) Mission/Observer Seat Technical Data The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
