Description

1 This is a pre-solicitation notice. �The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Center for Medical, Agricultural and Veterinary Entomology located in Gainesville, FL., has a requirement to Replace the Roofs on Building's 3, 12, and 13, depending on the availability of funds.� �The work includes but is not limited to: ��The Contractor will provide all materials, labor, supervision and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of the existing roofing system to the deck and provide a new roofing system as per the Statement of Work. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract.� The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside.� The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M.� Contractors shall not directly contact the�facility to discuss this requirement.� During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about August 03, 2023.� This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
