You are invited to submit a quote to the Iowa National Guard, for the rental of one refrigeration truck.�� All specifications of the offered refrigeration truck shall meet or exceed the salient characteristics (specifications) indicated below. Those specifications which do not meet the minimum salient characteristics shall be identified as a deviation from the requirement, and the technical specifications of the proposed deviation shall be provided in writing as an attachment to the quote. Product specifications/cut sheets shall be included as an attachment to the quote. The following refrigeration truck is required: LINE ITEM #:��������������� 0001 ITEM:� ������������������������ Refrigeration Truck Rental QUANTITY / UNIT: ������ 1 / Each DESCRIPTION:� ��������� See salient characteristics below SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS� (Specifications): Pick-up / return location � desired location within 50 miles of Camp Grayling, 2450 Camp Grayling Rd., Grayling, Michigan 49738. Will consider other locations along route from Washington, Iowa 52353 to Camp Grayling. Other acceptable locations include Iowa City, Cedar Rapid, Davenport (Quad Cities), and Des Moines, Iowa. Pick-up on 31 July 2023 and return on 20 August 2023 (actual dates may change with proximity to Camp Grayling). Federal Government is self-insured. Federal Government is exempt from state and local taxes, exemption certificate may be provided. Federal Government will provide CDL qualified operators. Estimated miles driven - uncertain at this time (depends on pick-up location). Estimated refrigeration unit hours of operation � 432-hours (18-days). Federal Government will provide all fuel for truck and refrigeration unit. Contractor shall provide all fluids (except fuel) and provide all equipment maintenance and services, including on-site emergency repairs. Technical Requirements: Diesel fuel straight frame truck. Thermal box minimum size of 18 ft to a maximum size of 26 ft in length and shall use diesel fuel to power refrigeration unit. Nose-mounted refrigeration unit. Chassis and Other Options: Regular Cab. Up to 28,000 lbs. GVW. Up to 10,000 lbs. payload. Power steering. Automatic transmission. Air brakes w/ ABS (Bendix Anti-Lock Brake System). Daytime running lights. Roof marker/clearance lights. Temperature Controlled Area: Shall be capable of dual temperature operation (32 degrees and 0 degrees). Shall be able to store both refrigerated and frozen items at the same time. Shall be able to monitor temperature without opening doors. THE FOLLOWING TERMS ARE APPLICABLE TO THIS RFQ: 1. NAICS Code 333415, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees, is applicable to this requirement. This acquisition is open to all eligible federal contractors regardless of social-economic size.� 2. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed price purchase order. 3. Basis for award is price. Total price includes daily rental, estimated total price for miles driven, estimated total price for refrigeration unit hours, total allowable and applicable fees and charges. 4.� Contractor shall have a current, active registration in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Register or check status/expiration date of your registration at http://www.sam.gov. If not registered, or registration expires within the next 60-days, begin the process of updating your registration now as it may take 15 or more business days after submitting a registration to become active in SAM. Contractor shall submit invoice electronically via the Wide Area Workflow application at https://piee.eb.mil and will receive payment via Electronic Funds Transfer to the bank account listed in their SAM profile. 6. Contractor shall provide proposed language for each of the following, which, if accepted by the Contracting Officer will be incorporated into the text of purchase order line-item(s).� � � �� ����������� (a) Method of computing payment. ����������� (b) A statement as to the applicability of pertinent State and local laws and regulations, and the responsibility of each party� � � � � � � � � � �for compliance with them.� � � � 7. Contractor shall complete Attachment 1 - Contractor Information and Pricing Tables and submit with all other offer documents 8. Contractor shall submit an offer in sufficient detail to allow the Government to easily determine the lowest firm fixed price offer that meets the minimum salient characteristics (specifications).
