- Description
- The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Southern Market Division Contracting Division intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to Sysmex America, Inc., for a hematology analyzer, reagents, and support and services for the 19th Medical Group, Little Rock AFB, Arkansas under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Only one source reasonably available. The applicable NAICS code is 334516, with a corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees. BACKGROUND The 19th MDG, LRAFB is requesting an acquisition of a hematology analyzer, reagents, and support and services as described in the performance work statement for the Clinical Laboratory located in building 1090, LRAFB, AR. SCOPE See attached Performance Work Statement. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE 1 October 2023 through 30 September 2027 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE 19th Medical Group Clinical Laboratory Bldg 1090 Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas TRAVEL N/A GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY None. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes.� All responsible sources may submit the information listed below, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date.� The Government is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to provide these services.� This Notice of Intent to Sole Source does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses incurred associated with responding to this Notice.� A determination by the Government to continue with a sole source action, or to issue a competitive solicitation, will be made based on any responses received to this notice, and will be made solely at the Government�s discretion.
