- The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW 13.106(b) to obtain a full-service agreement on three existing BioFire FilmArray 2.0. Period of performance: 12 months base and four 12 months option periods. Base: 10/01/2023-09/30/2024 Option Year 1: 10/01/2024-09/30/2025 Option Year 2: 10/01/2025-09/30/2026 Option Year 3: 10/01/2026-09/30/2027 Option Year 4: 10/01/2027-09/30/2028 Basic description of the requirement: The VA NYHHS in Brooklyn, New York is currently seeking a service contract for the maintenance of three BioFire FilmArray 2.0. This full-service contract is to include all necessary labor, full service, maintenance, tools, equipment, transportation and parts (excluding non-VENDOR parts) required to perform repair and Preventive Maintenance (PM) on listed equipment. All equipment shall be maintained in proper operating condition as specified by the manufacturer. Vendor must have manufacturer certification to service and maintain the devices and have access to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) parts, manuals and schematics to perform the service. Vendors must have their own schematics available on site at time of service. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by July 27, 2023 at 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE BIOMERIEUX SERVICE CONTRACT in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contract Specialist Leia Labruna at Leia.Labruna@va.gov. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
