- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SUBJECT: 36C257-23-AP-3167 Replace Med Air and Vacuum System / Kerrville, Texas VA Project GENERAL INFORMATION Contracting Officer Address: NCO17 Temple 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Building 171, Temple, TX 76504 Solicitation Number / AP Number: 36C257-23-AP-3167 Closing Response Date/Time/Zone: August 21, 2023 Achieve: 60 Days After Response Date Set-Aside: 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Product Service Code: Y1DA Construction of Hospitals and Infirmaries NAICS Code: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Place of Performance: Kerrville VA Medical Center Campus / 3600 Memorial BLVD / Kerrville, TX 78028 Tentative Project Need Date: June 15, 2024 DESCRIPTION Pre-Solicitation Notice: Network Contracting Office, NCO17 anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract for the removal, replacement and installation of the Medical Air and Vacuum Systems at Kerrville VA Medical Center, 3600 Memorial Blvd / Kerrville, Texas 78028 The anticipated method of procurement shall be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Parts 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), with an estimated solicitation issue date of October 15th, 2023, and a projected bid due date of December 1st, 2023. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment needed for the removal, replacement, and installation of the Medical Air and Vacuum Systems, as required by drawings and specifications and all necessary testing and commissioning are required in the project. The General Contractor must replace/install (2) new skid medical air and vacuum systems in the mechanical space, on the basement floor. These new systems must meet or exceed the specification of the units being replaced. Commissioning with be responsibility of the VA and will be done at the end of construction, before project closeout. After all work is completed, the contractor will have a walkthrough with the VA COR or Alternative COR to ensure all work is completed and ready to receive payment. The contractor shall provide all personnel, services, vehicles, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, facility supervision, administration supervision and any other item(s) necessary to perform and accomplish this service. The contractor shall be familiar with all the terms, conditions, and requirement herein contained. All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations. The period of performance (POP), for this service shall be 180 days or less from the Notice to Proceed date to be completed.
