Description

The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a Brand Name procurement action for the procurement of the following items: NSN 4920-01-619-9654 Aircrew Test Set (JCAST) NSN 4920-01-665-4645 Fixture Assembly, Test, Interface (ACAST-HA) This requirement is conducted under FAR 13.106(b), soliciting from a single source. This is a notice of intent to award a brand name procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Aircrew Systems Testers (JCAST and ACAST-HA) is required IAW Air Force Technical Order. Firms who want to challenge this brand name action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's technical expertise, certifications, and authorization to compete for this acquisition. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to RFP number FA4877-23-Q-AX22 by Tuesday, 25 July 2023, 8:00AM PST to Contract Specialist Patricia Murray, via email patricia.murray.6@us.af.mil or phone at (520)228-3095 or Contracting Officer Rachelle Jenkins, via email rachelle.jenkins.3@us.af.mil. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
