NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� This is not a solicitation or request for offers.� No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored.� Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to award a sole source purchase order to�SEMTech Solutions for the procurement of 100 kV Electron Beam Lithography System.�� This purchase will be made utilizing�Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Service.� Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement within three (3) calendar days of the publication of this notice.� Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.�� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. �A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided. Please reference this Notice of Intent number on your correspondence and in the �Subject� line of your email. __________________________________ Title: 100 kV Electron Beam Lithography System OBJECTIVE The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is searching for a 100 kV Electron Beam Lithography (EBL) system to be installed by the contractor at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Washington, DC. The 100 kV EBL system will be placed in a multi-user class 100 cleanroom facility and must provide ease of operation and safety to those in the facility.� NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is a sources sought notice for information and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. The Government is not committed to awarding a contract or issuing a solicitation pursuant to this announcement. No solicitation package is available at this time.
