Small Business Set-Aside: HZC Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone) Set-Aside (FAR 19.13)
Description: The 934th Airlift Wing, Minneapolis Minnesota intends to issue solicitation FA6633-23-R-0003 to solicit proposals for a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Premise Wiring withing B760 at Minneapolis-St Paul ARB. A solicitation package is anticipated to be available at www.sam.gov on or after 8 August 2023.� Paper copies will not be available.� The entire invitation for bid (IFB) will be made available only on the website SAM.gov. Once the solicitation is posted, Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of this document and subsequent amendments. It is anticipated the following viewers are needed to open the solicitation and all attachments: Microsoft Word (.doc), Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf) and WinZip (.zip or .exe). This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to FAR Subpart 6.205; this acquisition will be conducted as a Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZones) set aside. Magnitude of acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work to be performed within 238210, �Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors� and the size standard is $19 million.� The PSC/FSC Code is N059, �Installation of Equipment�Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components�.� The NAICS is to be used for market analysis only to determine the availability of potential small business categories for potential set-asides. Work to be included in this project consists of: DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Minneapolis Air Reserve Station anticipates contracting services for premise rewiring in accordance with the SOO. Contractor to engineer, furnish, install and test (EFI&T) premise wiring within building 760 at Minneapolis St Paul ARB. Newly installed premise wiring will support Unclassified but Sensitive Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet), Wireless Access Points (WAP), Phone drops or Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet). And the installation of three network switches provided by the Contractor.� All work shall be performed at 934th Airlift Wing, Minneapolis-St Paul Air Reserve Station, Minneapolis, MN as defined in the SOO. A Invitation for Bid (IFB) is contemplated IAW FAR part 14 with a 30-day response time after issuance of solicitation.� The government intends to hold a site visit. The exact date and time will be identified in the solicitation. Telephone requests for plans will not be honored.� Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office upon coordination with the assigned Contract Specialist.� Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to obtain all necessary updates/amendments from SAM.GOV�� All contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database � www.sam.gov and have completed the on-line Representations and Certifications to be eligible to receive award, and also be registered for the applicable NAICS Code 238210.� Interested contractors are encouraged to click the �Follow� icon at the top of the posting notice to receive updates concerning the solicitation.
