Description: A pilot scale DC electricity distribution capability to support integration for MW-class DC assets such as battery energy storage, electrolysis, DC as-a-service inverters, DC electrical service bus, and electric vehicle service equipment. The design targets DC-compatible switchgear, protection, and metering for DC voltages up to 2000VDC, with gear main power capacity above 1MW. The system will enable the DC interface for existing inverter assets (including two, 1.5MW inverters) to both 480Vac and 13.2kV systems.
