- The Metals Unit located at Ensley Engineer Yard is purchasing one (1) AHS-3220 Four-Roll Hydraulic Powered Plate Rolling Machine or equivalent. Below are the specifications needed to fulfill the purchase: One (1) AHS-3220 Four-Roll Hydraulic Powered Plate Rolling Machine or�equivalent with the following specifications: Working length: 128 inches Rated maximum thickness: At yield point: 36,000 PSI At pre-bending: 3/4-inch-thick mild steel Capable of rolling 3/8-inch-thick AR 400 steel plate by 4 feet wide to a 32-inch diameter Number of rolls: 4 Motor power: 30 HP, 460v Rolling speed: up to 16 feet per minute Minimum rolling diameter: top roll diameter times 3 Top roll diameter: 14.57 inches Pinch roll diameter: 14.17 inches Side roll diameter: 11.81 inches Machine length: 240 inches Machine height: 79 inches Machine width: 82 inches Machine weight: 92,400 pounds
