Point of Contact for this Sources Sought is: heather.strouhal@va.gov (913) 946 1165 Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office -15 3450 S. 4th Street Trafficway Leavenworth, KS. 66048.  STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS (SOR) For Neptune S Waste Management System Stryker Specific GENERAL DESCRIPTION. Leavenworth VA GI Department is requesting brand-specific STRYKER Neptune S Waste Management System for use during day-to-day procedures. This is in support of our increasingly busy Gastroenterologist and the staff that assist. The request is for a specific suction device that is completely self-contained, hands-free docking, and self-cleaning so staff are safeguarded against contact with hazardous biologic waste. SCOPE AND MINIMUM TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. The requested system must be self-contained. The requested system must be hands-free docking. The requested system must be self-cleaning to minimize potential staff exposure to hazardous fluids. The system must have waist-level, flat worksurface. Worksurface must be illuminated for specimen transfer. Manifold must be illuminated for specimen capture. Manifold must be one time use only. Manifold must have multiple suction ports. Device must offer integrated specimen collection. Device must have interactive LCD display. Device display must show fluid level, suction range, and actual mm-Hg. The requested system must be compatible with 120V power source. SPECIFICATIONS: The requested (1) Rover unit will be located in the GI lab (The docking station located in the housekeeping closet located on C2). Upon approval by facilities, the attachments at its location will be performed by the sales rep and biomed. Purchase of specific manifolds will be ordered through TSS and maintained in the supply stock of the GI lab. Intermittent maintenance will be performed by biomed or contracted out by biomed. Training of staff will be performed by the sales representative for Stryker. Delivery and installation will be during normal operating hours of the GI lab and coordinated with Sharon Dumlao, Nurse Manager. Nurse manager to ensure all approvals through other departments are in place prior to purchase of system. DELIVERABLES 0711-001-000 Neptune S Rover 1 EA DELIVERY and INSTALLATION SCHEDULE. ASAP after order is placed and Purchase Order executed. Must provide standard warranty from manufacturer No installation costs nor any added costs for the government U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center 4101 4th Street Trafficway Delivery to Warehouse Leavenworth, Kansas 66048 Upon Completed Assemble: When assembly has been completed, BioMed will be contacted to perform appropriate hospital compliance/electrical safety testing, prior to use by the GI Lab. After Delivery: As soon as BioMed has given a safety approval, GI can then contact the Sales Representative for the seller s company and arrange a time and date for an on-site in-service for the new system.
