Anita Amodia Contracting Officer VA-VHA-RPOW-2023-0052 CONTINUATION PAGE Revised Statement of Work Item 2.3 All Contractor personnel shall understand IPM principles and practices and can implement them. The Contractor shall be Quality Pro Certified and Green Pro Certified and have the background and experience to identify pests and knowledgeable about pest life cycles, habits and the conditions that affect pest populations. Question regarding SOW, Subsection 2.3: Pest Control companies are permitted to perform pest control services including IPM Services without this certification as long as they are licensed within the State where service is rendered. Request that this requirement be considered to be removed from this solicitation in the best interest of the government and all pest control contractors.  Answer: After confirming that it is not a state requirement for AZ, we do not need to require it for this effort. Question: Is pricing from a previous vendor who performed these services available? Answer: Pricing not available. Question: For the scheduled site visit, do contractors need to RSVP/Is it mandatory? Answer: RSVP is not needed nor is the site visit mandatory. Question: Are measurements of the buildings needing services available? Answer: Main Facility it varies, but on average 3 after hour request per day. Question: What is the number of bed bug service requests at each site over the past 12 months? Answer: Main Facility on average 5 per month, approximately 60 per year. Certain times of the year there is a sharp increase. Question: Has any of the scope of service changed from this Solicitation compared to that of the last awarded contract? If so, what changed?  Answer: The monitoring and trapping of rodents was the biggest change. This is an ongoing issue. Question: How many service calls for bird clean up service occurred over the past 12 months?  Answer: Contractor should conduct their own inspections and recognize this during the course of their routine. The COR will walk the areas on average 2 times a month and will inform the contractor of problem areas.
