Amendment 000001 to COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION# CPS-2120-23-0001is issued to remove the Brand Name or Equal requirement nomenclature and change the reference standard to Factor A subfactor 6 as follows:� This is no longer a brand name or equal requirement but all requirements in Attachment 1 and 2 must still be met. Attachment 2 XRF Technical Evaluation is amended to change Factor A subfactor 6 to NIST Standard Reference Material� 1412a Glass Standard.� The closing date for this solicitation is extended to August 8th, 2023 3PM EST.� The title to this solicitation was not edited so that interested vendors can still locate the requirement.� COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION- CPS-2120-23-0001- This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement for Thermo Scientific Niton handheld XRF model XL5 Plus in accordance with the requirements and specifications outlined in Attachment 1 � Statement of Requirements XRF Analyzer and Attachment 2 Technical Evaluation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and 13.105, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, CPS-2120-23-0001, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Purchase Order.� This combined synopsis/ solicitation is for the following Commercial Line Items: (CLIN) 0001: Quantity - Eight (8) Handheld XRF Analyzers.� (CLIN) 0002: Quantity - Four (4) Handheld XRF Analyzers (Subject to Available Funding). (CLIN) 0003: Optional Item � Up to Sixteen (16) on-site training sessions at various locations throughout the United States. (CLIN) 0004: Optional CLIN for additional quantities in FY24. Shipping: See the Statement of Requirements for description of requirements. Delivery Date: 30 to 60 days after award of order Delivery: FOB Destination Delivery Location: 5 Research Place, Rockville, MD.� The following provisions are applicable to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. �See Attachment 2 XRF Technical Evaluation . Basis for Award:� lowest price technically acceptable responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, ability to meet the needs of the Government, price, and delivery considered. �Any Vendor with an XRF that can satisfy all of the requirements in Attachment 1 must send an email notification to Greg Grayson: ggrayson@cppsc.gov to schedule a live demonstration in accordance with Attachment 2. Live Demonstrations to occur during the week of 11 � 20 July 2023 at 5 Research Place, Rockville, MD. Invoicing and Payment - www.ipp.gov � 30 day prompt pay after inspection, acceptance, and a properly submitted invoice.� The government reserves the right to award without discussion. To be eligible for this award the offeror must have an active SAM registration at https://sam.gov/content/home .� The offeror�s SAM registration must include 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. �The question period ends on July 11, 2023 3PM EST.
