Description

This is a synopis for the following requirement: This requirement is for a supply contract vehicle to secure local access to building supplies to include but not limited to lumber, tiling supplies, metal and PVC pipes, welding material and epoxies to allow 42 FSS teams to accomplish revamping projects across Maxwell-Gunter AFB for a 6 month period. � The 42d ABW Commander has identified the need for up to 5 self-help projects where this supply contract vehicle is needed; 3 projects are anticipated for Maxwell AFB and 2 projects are anticipated for Gunter Annex. �The first project was �identified as the Maxwell Event Center's Pit Remodel. �The remaining 4 projects are yet to be announced but will have short term execution timelines when projects commence. �Scheduling these revamp teams is not feasible at this time and when projects commence the short execution windows require immediate access to these materials. �""Local Area"" is defined as a within a 50 mile radius of Maxwell-Gunter AFB to allow for same day pickup of required materials. � �The following is an approximate list of building supplies needed for such initiatives:
