Description

IAW FAR 5.2, this is a notification of proposed sole-source contract action to Nautel Maine, Inc to acquire (6) RF Drive Amplifier Assembly units. The US Coast Guard, C5I Service Center, intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to Nautel Maine, Inc, 201 Target Industrial Circle, Bangor, Maine 04401.� This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Nautel Maine is the sole source capable of providing the required RF Drive Amplifier Assembly units.� This equipment purchase is to support lifecycle sustainment of USCG C5ISC Portsmouth installations and to provide warehouse spares for future failures. This hardware is proprietary and there is only one authorized provider � Nautel Maine Inc. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 2:00 p.m. EDT on 10 August 2023. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to Amanda.L.Justice@uscg.mil with solicitation number referenced in the subject line.
