Description
U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center 2023 Industry Expo The C5ISR Center is hosting an engagement event open to all of industry, for the purpose of providing two-way collaboration on current and future technologies. 1. Who: The intended audience includes science and technology (S&T) or engineering representatives from active and prospective industry partners. No media will be invited to attend. 2. When/Where: The two-day event is Tuesday 25 July Wednesday 26 July. It will be held fully in-person at Aberdeen Proving Ground, in both the Myer Auditorium (Building 6000) and the APG Recreation Center gymnasium (Building 3326). 3. Purpose: The event will focus on the Centers growth areas across all six S&T core competencies. The intent is to remain technology-focused and not tied to any specific acquisition or contract action(s). The content briefed will better build an industrial base in areas where one presently lacks and identify industry partners for technologies yet undeveloped or initiated, and therefore without a solidified industry relationship. The two-way exchange will aid industry in identifying how best to invest internal research and development funds (IR&D), and surface innovative solutions already being explored by the Center or industry. C5ISR Center technology leads will share status of current project areas and expand into future growth opportunities across key mission areas. The discussions held will focus on technologies with new starts planned for FY25 through FY27, contributing to building the Army of 2040. 4. Format: The event will utilize a dual approach in delivery. The C5ISR Center will present investment areas, technology areas worth industry exploration and partnership (day one). The event will then transition to a symposium-style format (day two), with booths representing technology areas across the Center to anchor an exchange. For the second days expo, industry may attend either in the morning or afternoon, for capacity considerations. Both timeslots will be duplicative, with the same technologies present and same information shared at both. 5. Registration: Each business entity (per each CAGE Code) will be entitled to register three (3) representatives to attend the event. If capacity allows, C5ISR may open additional slots for more representatives to attend. If so, the Center will notify all registered organizations by approximately 07 July 2023. Given the nature and intent of the event, it is recommended that S&T or engineering personnel attend, versus business and development representatives. Registration opens 01 May 2023 and may be accessed through the following link: https://c5isr.ccdc.army.mil/. There will be no on-site registration on the day of the event, nor any substitutions after 30 June 2023. 6. Technology Areas: A draft listing of all projected technology areas discussed during the day one briefing and areas hosting a booth during the day two expo are posted as controlled attachments within this SAM.gov posting. To gain access to controlled attachments, your company/entity must be certified by the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Your entity/companys Data Custodian requester (designated) on block 3A of the DD Form 2345 is the only authorized individual that can download the controlled attachment. Your entity/company is responsible for the protection of the controlled document after the download. If your entity/company is not pre-certified by the JCP, you will need to apply for certification by completing a DD Form 2345 and emailing it to jcp-admin@dla.mil. Detailed information regarding the JCP application procedures are available at the JCP website at https://www.dla.mil/Logistics-Operations/Services/JCP/. Please direct any questions regarding the JCP certification process to jcp-admin@dla.mil. To request access to download the controlled attachment, click on the tab for Attachment/Links, then click on the title of the controlled document. When you receive the pop-up window to request access, enter the reason for the request in the window, making sure to include your entitys CAGE Code and JCP Certification Number then hit submit. Once the notice is submitted, the access status on the controlled document will change to Pending. The Access POC will review your request, granting access if requirements are met or reject for correction. 7. Classification Level: Attendees must be U.S. citizens. Individuals desiring to attend any session must have a favorable completion of at least a Tier 1 Personnel Security Investigation. Individuals attending classified sessions must have a favorable completion and adjudication of at least a Tier 3 Personnel Security Investigation. Visit requests are a mandatory component of the registration process. Visit requests must be submitted in DISS to SMO W4G8287 no later than 1700 EST on 30 June 2023. All attendees shall bring a form of photo identification on both days of the event. Anyone who has not properly completed the registration process or arrives without photo identification will not be admitted. 8. Survey: A post-event survey will be located on the C5ISR Center Industry Expo website and distributed to attendees following the conclusion of the event. We look forward to the relationships, innovative solutions, and collaborative exchange to come from this industry-wide engagement. Point of Contact: C5ISR Center Events Planning Team usarmy.apg.devcom-c5isr.mbx.strategic-communications-and-engagem@army.mil Phone: 443-861-7597 / 7607 / 7609 The information shared is for planning purposes: it neither represents a pre-solicitation synopsis nor constitutes an invitation for bid or request for proposal, and it is not a commitment by the government to purchase the desired products and services.
