Description

This sources sought announcement is to conduct market research for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration which is seeking construction contractors to perform the below construction services at Camp Butler National Cemetery: CLIN 1: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION:� The contractor will provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to construct the road repairs as shown on the plans and described in the specifications. Work of the contract includes but not limited to general conditions, construction of storm drain repairs, curb and gutter repair, full depth asphalt replacement, partial depth asphalt replacement; correction on IT deficiencies, and electrical infrastructure upgrades, and all other work necessary to construct the improvements as shown and described on the contract documents. The contractor will have one hundred and fifty (150) calendar days to complete the work from the date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). BID OPTION #1: Full depth asphalt replacement and asphalt pavement mill and overlay indicated on drawing sheets CS111 through CS114; add thirty (30) calendar days to the period of performance. BID OPTION #2: Asphalt pavement overlay indicated on drawing sheets CS121 through CS124; add thirty (30) calendar days to the period of performance. BID OPTION #3: Asphalt pavement overlay and asphalt pavement sealing indicated on drawing sheets CS131 through CS134; add thirty (30) calendar days to the period of performance. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. All interested contractors are encouraged to submit a capabilities package in response to this sources sought announcement no later than July 27th, 2023 by 4:00 PM (Central Time) via email to daniel.kinney@va.gov with the Subject Line insert �PN: 806CM3029 Camp Butler (Company�s Name).� Capabilities packages should include the following and be no more than four pages in length: Business name, address, and small business type A positive statement of your intention to submit a bid in response to a possible solicitation for this requirement.
