Leverage commercially available products designed to increase visibility within the maritime environment and adapt them to military uses. i . Incorporating SAR reflectors will allow for persistent signaling regardless of weather and/or atmospheric conditions. ii.Impregnating material with IR effects ensures both day and night signaling capability. iii. Multicolored Panels aid in the speed and accuracy of identification by algorithms utilized in both panchromatic and multispectral sensors. b. By being able to adjust the order or shape of the towed signal, IPs will be able to communicate their status to PR planners tracking their movements from afar. i. Developing a Stop Light like chart to indicate things like health status, injuries, and/or water stores, will allow PR planners to prioritize the recovery of the IPs most in need of recovery.
