Description
THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INTEREST.� A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS NOT BEING ISSUED WITH THIS NOTICE AND PROPOSALS ARE NOT BEING REQUESTED. This purpose of this notice is to inform the A-E community of acquisition efforts being taken by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mississippi Valley Division (MVD), St. Paul District.� The District is working on two A-E MATOCs for the upper three Districts (St. Paul, Rock Island, and St. Louis) within MVD under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541330, Engineering Services.� One of the acquisitions being undertaken is for approximately $249M in total capacity and the other is for approximately $50M in total capacity.� These acquisitions are currently in the acquisition planning stages and are currently anticipated for SF330 requests in the 1st quarter FY24 and 4th quarter FY23, respectively. The general scope of each acquisition is for Architect-Engineer Design Services for the upper three Districts.� The A-E services included are all types of civil works related engineering areas such as:� flood damage and risk reduction; shoreline and stream bank erosion protection; environmental and ecosystem habitat restoration; comprehensive watershed evaluations; geotechnical analysis; surveys; lock and dam or other operations & maintenance rehabilitation; and multi-purpose water resources projects.� The typical capabilities will include comprehensive planning, technical analysis, engineering design, value engineering, and engineering during construction/construction phase services for civil works projects.
