Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to issue a sole source, Firm -Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order (PO) under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The Government intends to award to Marriott International, Inc for the purposes of obtaining Audio/Visual equipment and technical services for the 2023 Coast Guard Ball being held 19 Aug 2023 at Crystal Gateway Marriott, Washington, DC. The USCG intends on awarding this requirement as a sole source to Marriott International (Inspire Events) as this is the approved vendor for the location that already has the required insurance and is onsite. Other vendors would be required to utilize technicians from the hotel through Inspire Events per the Group Event Agreement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government. This contract will fall under NAICS code 721110 and will incorporate provisions and clauses attached in synopsis documents. Additionally, Department of Labor Wage Rate Determinations, DOL 2015-4281 v. 27 apply. For contract questions please email LT Stephen Cartier at stephen.m.cartier@uscg.mil.
