- Description
- The Medical Readiness Contracting Office � Pacific intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed-price, non-personal services contract for Computed Tomography Technologist services for the 51st Medical Group, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. This requirement is for a period of performance from 01 October 2023 � 30 September 2024 (base period), plus four (1) one-year option periods. The contract personnel shall provide services in conjunction with other non-contract diagnostic imaging personnel to include radiologists, computed tomography technologists, diagnostic sonographers, registered and licensed technologists, and support personnel. All contract personnel shall perform essentially the same functions, within the scope of acceptable practice for the specific specialty or position, as those required by Air Force or Government service health care professionals of similar experience and in similar duty assignments. The scope of services provided in military treatment facilities cover the same range of services as those that are provided in civilian treatment facilities of similar size and scope of services. Required qualifications include, but are not limited to: Education: The Computed Tomography Technologist performing services under this contract shall possess an Associate�s Degree in Radiologic Technology or have graduated from an accredited program in radiological sciences. Experience: The offeror shall have at least two (2) years� experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist within the last five (5) years. Licensure/Certification/Registration: The Computed Tomography Technologist shall hold a valid, current, unrestricted U.S. national certification or Korean equivalent of radiological technologist license. Registered technologist with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, for U.S. citizens; certificate of license as a radiological technologist from the Republic of Korea�s Minister of Health & Welfare or certification in computed tomography for Korean citizens. English Requirement: The Contractor personnel working on this contract shall be able to communicate in the English language at the intermediate level as exemplified in their written and verbal skills in the performance of their duties under this contract. If the Government, at its sole discretion, determines that the language skills of the contract personnel does not meet the language proficiency required of the position, the Government reserves the right to require the Contractor to provide new contract personnel that does possess the required language proficiency required of the position, at no additional cost to the Government. The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 621399 and the annual size standard is $10M.� This solicitation package will be available on the SAM.gov website (http://SAM.gov/) approximately in August 2023.� No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.� NOTICE TO OFFERORS All sources may submit a quote as applicable.� However, the Republic of Korea (ROK)-United States (U.S.) Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), may preclude the U.S. Government from granting Invited Contractor or Technical Representative Status to any offeror, for this requirement. All sources submitting a quote, including U.S. sources, must already have OR confirm their ability to obtain the requisite business licenses directly from the ROK Government, and conduct business in accordance with all applicable ROK laws, including but not limited to, rules and policies regarding labor, taxation, and immigration.� If an initial quote does not fully demonstrate this authorization and capacity, it will not be further considered for award. Whether an offeror demonstrates this authorization and capacity shall be determined by the Contracting Officer.
