Description

Notice of Contract Action (NOCA) to Sole Source to LivingWorks Education USA, Inc.�The requirement is to procure a service which will provide a Train-the-Trainer (TTT) workshop(s) that will provide trainers with a quantity and variety of training tools and techniques to increase protective factors that can reduce the impact that risk factors have on the individual and the community. The TTT workshop must be relevant and usable for the trainers and permit application to the specific content and audience and provide a variety of practical and creative training techniques that have ease of application and positive impact on participants. Training methodology must 1) leverage best practices in suicide prevention to maximize understanding; 2) provide a framework and process to apply existing curricula and evidence based content enabling participants with skills and knowledge to be confident to prevent suicide and intervene in a suicide attempt; 3) emphasizes actions and capabilities at the individual level; and 4) bridges the gap between individual and professional care and support, identifies internal barriers to prevention and intervention efforts, and provides resources if post-vention care is needed. Immediate application of these skills is critical to support resilience and suicide prevention training, soft skills/foundation training, and other already established curricula presented by helping agencies.
