Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE, SUPPORT AND REPAIR FOR MINICAMS AND STREAM SELECTION SYSTEMS This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-l(b) (1). The US Army Contracting Command -Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846; has a requirement to procure the following service: The Chemical Biological Center (CBC) Environmental Monitoring Laboratory (EML) requires preventive maintenance and remedial maintenance for the following equipment and (quantities): MINICAMS (156) and Stream Selection Systems (34) located at the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland and occasionally at field locations within Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS). The service is for a 12 month base period and four (4) option period. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to CMS Research Corporation, 2148 Pelham Parkway, Bldg 400, Pelham, AL 35124. CMS Research Corp, is the previous contract holder and due to the continued need for the maintenance and support services for the mission essential routine preventive maintenance and as-needed repair of the MINICAMS and Stream Selection Systems, has been deemed critical. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAlCS) Code is 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and the Small Business Size Standard is $34M. All responses received within five businesses (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement no later than 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST), 04 August 2023 with the following information: Company name.
