Description

The US Coast Guard Office of Procurement & Contracting Miami Detachment (DOL 95) on behalf of U.S. Coast Guard Sector Key West Facilities Engineering Department, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price service purchase order to contractor to provide equipment, delivery, and installation of HVAC Chiller as a temporary casualty repair to Bldg 120 HVAC at Coast Guard Sector Key West, while parts for permanent repair are received, per provide SOW. This building houses the Base Galley, medical, CGIS and CBP personnel. The contractor shall furnish trained, qualified personnel and any required special tools or equipment necessary to complete any work task which may be issued.� Work tasks may be issued in the following general areas: Facilities Engineering Division, Coast Guard Sector Key West 100 Trumbo Point Road, Key West FL 33040 Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements listed above must clearly identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for future similar acquisitions. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the repairs to the sewage line at the Coast Guard Station to prevent further damage to the system. � The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. Scope of Services This scope of work is for the mobilization, operation, and demobilization of a 30-TON chiller and an appropriately sized portable generator to supply power. The original building chiller is a Carrier Model Number 30MP30MPW0306TB00167. The contractor shall verify a 30-TON chiller will provide sufficient cooling to the 10,000 sq.ft. building prior to mobilization. This scope of work also includes any and all connection equipment, materials and cables provided by the contractor. If shipping/freight of equipment is required, the costs shall not come at additional cost to the government. Applicable NAICS code:� 238220
