- Description
- The Army Contracting Command, 413thContract Support Bridge (CSB), Regional Contracting Office (RCO) Hawaii has a requirement to provide Laboratory Analysis Services for Asbestos and Metals from Various Army Installations and other locations on the Islands of Oahu and Hawaii, Hawaii. Tasks to be performed include, but not limited to the following Asbestos bulk samples, Asbestos Air Samples, Metals Bulk Sample, and Metals Air Samples Analysis. � Background: This is a follow-on procurement for contract number W912CN-18-D-0001 awarded to AMA Analytical Services, Inc. The current contract ended on May 7, 2023. Lead and asbestos testing is required prior to renovation/repairs for all Army buildings. When a renovation/ repair is needed on a building, Department of Public Works Environmental Division (DPW-ENV) first searches through their database to see if any prior testing was conducted on the portion of the building being renovated/repaired. If no record is found, a sampling of building material is collected by DPW- ENV sent to the contractor for laboratory testing and findings reports. � Contract Set aside: This action will be set aside 100% to Woman Owned Small Business. � Contract Type and Period of Performance: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirement contract. The Period of Performance for the base year is 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024 with four (4) one-year options. � Interested Vendors are highly encouraged to obtain the following documents since it will be required upon submission of quotes. ???????a.�Proof of Registration with Hawaii Department of Health for asbestos fiber analysis in accordance with the Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR) Chapter 11-504. b.�Copy of Certification from National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP). c.�Copy of Certification from National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program (NLLAP). � RCO- Hawaii will be issuing, Request for Quote (RFQ) for Laboratory Analysis Services for Asbestos and Metals from Various Army Installations and locations on the Islands of Oahu and Hawaii, Hawaii. � Please note that this notice does NOT constitute the Request for quote (RFQ). The RFQ will be posted on or about 4 August 2023 or earlier. The RFQ and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO.gov). Upon release of the RFQ, potential vendors will be encouraged to submit questions and/or recommendations regarding the terms and conditions of the RFQ and/or the associated documents. All timely submissions will be reviewed and the final RFQ may contain changes as a result of any input received. � No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to this solicitation. � All prospective vendors must have a Unique Entity ID (UEI) and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541380 - Testing Laboratories. The small business size standard is $15 million.
