Description
GAOA WATER CANYON TRAIL BRIDGE REPLACEMENT BLM Nevada State Office 140L3923R0024 The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Winnemucca District Office has the requirement for two pre-manufactured steel pedestrian bridges and precast abutments for bridges. The pedestrian bridges will require clearing of the nature trail at ADA acceptable grades while providing a firm and stable surface. A firm trail surface resists deformation by indentations. Approximately 750 feet on the south side of the creek and approximately 210 feet on the north side of the creek is estimated to be required. The equipment allowed for use of the trail clearing will need to conform with the Water Canyon Bridge and Trail Improvement Environmental Assessment and be approved by the COR. The Solicitation will include contract documents with details of the project when it is released. The project is located in Humboldt County in Nevada. Davis Bacon Act (DBA) Wage Rate Requirements are applicable to this project and the appropriate DBA Wage Decision(s) will be included in the solicitation. The BLM will issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation on/about August 11, 2023. The BLM anticipates issuing a single firm fixed price award from this solicitation. The competitive solicitation, 140L3923R0024, will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and the size standard is $45.0M (per the SBA�s Table of Small Business Size Standards). A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation package will be available electronically on or about August 11, 2023, at the SAM website located at www.sam.gov. Proposals will be due no later than September 11, 2023. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring www.sam.gov for the release of the solicitation package, for any other pertinent information, and for downloading a complete copy of the solicitation package. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered, and currently active, and complete the online Representations and Certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base via website: http://www.sam.gov. Award will be based on Best Value to the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror(s). This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The primary Point of Contact is Tyler L.
