- Amendment 0001 to extend bid opening to 8 August 2023 at 11:00 AM CST.�(please see attachment for further details). The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Orleans District has the following requirement: This solicitation,�W912P823B0050, is being issued as Invitation for Bid�(IFB) and resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract.� The work consists of demolition and removal of timber guidewall and existing concrete and steel pile cellular dolphin, pile driving and construction of concrete bull nose dolphin and other related incidental work. This work is located in New Orleans, LA. The estimated value of this work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. NOTE: All questions should be received no later than COB on Monday, 24 July, 2023 and must be in writing. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will not be honored.�Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the�solicitation package and any amendments. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on SAM (www.sam.gov).� You will need the adobe acrobat reader for .pdf files (www.adobe.com) in order to open most files posted by the New Orleans District.� You are encouraged, for marketing purposes, to register as an Interested Vendor in Beta SAM (www.sam.gov).� This can be done by clicking on the solicitation title and clicking on the button that says Register as an Interested Vendor and entering your business information.� Offerors are also encouraged to post notices of prospective subcontracting opportunities on the Small Business Administration�s Subnet, at http://web.sba.gov/subnet.� Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM), in order to receive a Government contract award.
