- The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Norfolk at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract with Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) and Delivery Schedule Evaluation Factors for the item listed below. The required item is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Part 13 and FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The Contract Line Items (CLINs) are as follows: CLIN 0001 2.5 INCH SUCTION AND DISCHARGE HOSE, 2.5 INCH FEMALE CAMLOCK AND 2.5 INCH MALE CAMLOCK ... 50 FT SECTIONS� QTY: 30 ASSEMBLY Heavy duty, hard wall, suction, and discharge hose. Hose shall consist of nitrile/corrugated wrapped finished. Inner most tube shall be nitrile, reinforced with multiple textile plies and a dual wire helix. The hose inner liner (tube) and outer cover shall be BLACK in color. The color shall be thoroughly embedded into the reinforcement and helical wire(s) to provide a homogeneous hose wall and result in sufficient adhesion to meet the required hose application of the follow:� 2-1/2� I.D. X 3� O.D. HOSE MUST HAVE A WORKING PRESSURE OF 150 PSI (MINIMUM) AND 250 PSI (MAXIMUM).� HOSE MUST NOT EXCEED A BURST TEST PRESSURE OF 800 PSI. MUST HAVE A MINIMUM BEND RADIUS OF 2.5� 1.40 � 1.50 LBS. MAXIMUM WEIGHT PER FOOR WITHOUT COUPLING. HOSE SHALL BE CAPABLE OF TAKING A FULL VACUUM. MUST BE RESISTANT TO WEATHER, OIL, SOLVENTS, AND MILD ACIDS HOSE MUST HAVE A TEMPERATURE RATING OF -40 DEGREES (F) TO + 180 DEGREES (F). HOSES ARE TO BE PROVIDED IN 50 FOOT LENGTHS (+12� / -12�) HOSE MUST HAVE A MALE COUPLING (AA59326/2A-7-B) ON ONE END AND A FEMALE HOSE COUPLING (AA59326/6A-7-B) ON THE OTHER END. FITTINGS MUST BE RED BRASS ALLOY C84400. NOTE: EACH COUPLINGS SHALL BE PERMANTLY/MECHANICALLY ATTACHED BY EXTERNAL CRIMPING, UTILIZING A STAINLESS STEEL CRIMP FERRULE IN ACCORDANCE WITH COUPLING MANUFACTURER�S RECOMMENDATION. EACH HOSE ASSEMBLY SHALL HAVE, AT A MINIMUM, THE MFG�S NAME, CONTRACT NUMBER AND PRESSURE RATING ON LAYLINE IN PERMANENT INK OR MOLDED INTO COVERING. SUPPLIER MUST PROVIDE WRITTEN CERTIFICATION THAT HOSE ASSEMBLIES (HOSE AND FITTING) HAVE BEEN HYDROSTATICALLY TESTED AT 150 PSIG WITH CLEAN, FRESH WATER FOR 10 MINUTES WITH ZERO LEAKS, WEEPS, END FITTING SLIPPAGE AND/OR BULGES. HOSE SHALL BE PARKER SWC609 OR EQUIVALENT AT NO COST TO THE GOVERNMENT, NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REQUEST A SAMPLE ASSEMBLY FOR TESTING AND EVALUATION PURPOSES FROM ANY OR ALL OFFERORS DURING EVALUATION PROCESS. HOSE MUST BE PALLETIZED OFFERORS SPECIFICATIONS SHALL BE REVIEWED PRIOR TO AWARD. The anticipated delivery date for this acquisition is 10 business days ARO. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form only. THE SOLICITATION IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. The solicitation number is SPMYM123Q0069 and it is expected to be available on or about 28 July 2023 and posted to SAM.gov, https://sam.gov/ Quotes will be due by 5:00 PM EST on 04 August 2023.
