Description
The Medical Readiness Contracting Office � Pacific, in support of MEDCOM, intends to issue a brand name only solicitation for the reagents for the Beckman Coulter hematology analyzers (DxH600 & DxH800)for the Brian D.� Allgood Army Community Hospital, Korea.� The NAICS code for this requirement is 325413. �This requirement is for a period of performance on or about 01 October 2023 to 31 May 2024.� The delivery/ship to address is noted in the Contract Line Item Description of the solicitation. NOTICE TO QUOTERS: All sources may submit a quote as applicable.� However, the Republic of Korea (ROK)-United States (U.S.) Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), may preclude the U.S. Government from granting Invited Contractor or Technical Representative Status to any quoters, for this requirement.� All sources submitting a quote, including U.S. sources, must already have OR confirm their ability to obtain the requisite business licenses directly from the ROK Government, and conduct business in accordance with all applicable ROK laws, including but not limited to, rules and policies regarding labor, taxation, and immigration. If an initial quote does not fully demonstrate this authorization and capacity, it will not be further considered for award. Whether a quoter demonstrates this authorization and capacity shall be determined by the Contracting Officer.� The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotationwhich shall be considered by the agency. All questions and responses concerning this notice shall be emailed to susan.m.fujita.civ@health.mil by the response date on this synopsis.� Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response.
