Description
TSC - Differential Scanning Calorimeter w/ refrigerated cooling system, crucibles and press, including install, training, and shipping. The differential scanning calorimeter shall be capable of performing the list of ASTM Standards below: ASTM D3417 Standard Test Method for Enthalpies of Fusion and Crystallization of Polymers by Differential Scanning Calorimetry ASTM D3418 Standard Test Method for Transition Temperatures and Enthalpies of Fusion and Crystallization of Polymers by Differential Scanning Calorimetry ASTM D3895 Standard Test Method for Oxidative-Induction Time of Polyolefins by Differential Scanning Calorimetry ASTM E793 Standard Test Method for Enthalpies of Fusion and Crystallization by DSC ASTM E794 Standard Test Method for Melting and Crystallization by DSC ASTM E928 Standard Test Method for Determination of Purity by DSC ASTM E1269 Standard Test Method for Determining Specific Heat Capacity by DSC ASTM E1356 Standard Test Method for Glass Transition Temperatures by DSC ASTM E2160 Standard Test Method for Heat of Thermally Reactive Materials by Differential Scanning Calorimetry The DSC must be capable of: 1. Performing at a temperature range from -90� Celsius (C) to 500�C. 2. A refrigerated cooling system is required to measure glass transition (Tg) temperatures below room temperature. 3. Operating at heating rates from 5-50�C/min and cooling rates from 2-20�C/min. 4.Temperature accuracy and precision of +/- 1.5�C at time of laboratory installation 5. Equipment power must work off 120V/ 20A circuit 6. An autosampler is not required. The delivered system must include: 1. Complete system including: a. Differential Scanning Calorimeter b. Refrigerated Cooling system c. 100 Crucibles and one Press d. Calibration Reference Sample e. Computer-controlled hardware and software compatible with Microsoft Windows 10 or higher f. Cable communication between refrigerated cooler, computer, and DSC g. Instrument Manual The system shall be plug and play and usable once setup. No additional modifications prior to production level work should be required. The system shall be provided with up-to-date equipment calibration documentation and shall be manufactured with all new parts. All hardware and software proposed for this project would need to be capable of running in an air-gapped environment (no internet connectivity). Therefore, all system updates need to be capable of being performed through means other than network connectivity. The system shall include at least a one-year warranty provided by the supplier. Supplier must have lifetime technical support. Supplier must install equipment and provide onsite training for operation.
