- NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE INTENT Reference No. 1605-CIO-23-NAT-0776 Centricity Technology Partners, Inc. 621 Quackenbos St., NW Washington, DC 20011 The Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Assistant Secretary of Administration and Management (OASAM), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Centricity Technology Partners, Inc., under the authority of FAR 13.106?1(b)(1)(i) � Soliciting from a Single Source. The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in support of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) supports the mission of the Department of Labor (DOL) agencies and staff with multiple environments and applications. The Oracle�s WebLogic Service Management Pack Enterprise Edition has been supporting MSHA application development and production systems since 2017. There are over 1,500 users today that manages thousands of data transactions per day supporting MSHA agency ability to enforce compliance with mandatory safety and health standards to eliminate fatal accidents; to reduce the frequency and severity of nonfatal accidents; to minimize health hazards; and to promote improved safety and health conditions in the Nation�s mines. The objective is to sustain and improve Health and Safety Branch�s Application Server Enterprise Management operations using WebLogic management pack tools. The Health and Safety Branch�s current operating environment consists of WebLogic technologies in use across development, test, and production environments.� The environments are managed manually through scripts, batch jobs and daily checklist monitoring of jobs. �The critical business processes of MSHA are heavily dependent upon its Information Technology (IT) resources.� The MSHA Standardized Information System (MSIS) & MSHA Centralized Application System (MCAS) are mission critical systems that provide an integrated one-stop information management support for enforcement activities conducted to achieve MSHA�s mission in protecting the safety and health of the nation�s miners. Performance management, service level management, configuration management and lifecycle management of IT assets are critical to supporting MSHA�s mission.� Improved technology reduces manual support methods, automation eliminates time consuming manual processes that can be error prone, improves better detection of system issues before downtime occurs, better adherence to IT compliance requirements through improved configuration management tools and improved tools for rapidly cloning environments for lifecycle management of software. This action will result in a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance will commence on September 25, 2023. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541519 � Other Computer Related Services with a size standard of $34 million. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals.
